Bikebuster was established in 1995 by former professional rider Per Bausager who during 1977-1984 rode all the classic e.g. Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta d'Espagne, World Championship, Milano-San Remo, Tour de Flandern, Paris-Roubaix, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, Tour de Lombardie etc. He also participated in 35 6-days races.
Per Bausager rode and lived during his career 7 years in Italy. In this time he established all the contacts to the Italian bike industry which are now the cornerstones in Bikebuster. He used to be the assistant-rider for Giovanni Battaglin when he won Vuelta d'Espagne and Giro d'Italia.
Importing and distributing one of the worlds largest mtb brands, Scott, in 10 years makes Per Bausagers knowledge about mountain bikes considerable.
The goal of Bikebuster and Per Bausager has always been to locate new items and good offers in the international market before the competitors - and to sell them off cheaper. Travelling to factories and retailers abroad secures that Bikebuster is always ahead and usually gets the best offers first. Bikebuster imports most items and resell them to you without expensive middle dealers. On certain item groups Bikebuster do cooperate with the best Danish distributers.
