This scheme is indicative and the correct size may depend of the proportion of your body/individual body building. If you are very slim you may need to go down one size, if you are heavier built you may need to go up one size according to your body size recommendation.

There are a few things to be aware of when buying bike clothes:
Jerseys have to have a tight fit and only reach the hips, in such a way that the pockets is at loin level when you are on the bike - The are not supposed to fit like a t-shirt.
Cycling shorts has to be a close fit and if they have suspenders they should feel a bit short standing up. They will then fit when sitting on the bike.
