1.

Liability

 



Trading via Bikebuster Online can only take place if the user declares that he/she has understood the terms and conditions which apply when trading with Bikebuster Online. To shop at Bikebuster Online, users must be min. 18 years of age.

Bikebuster Online, including its owners, managers and employees as well as partners, suppliers and other associated parties, cannot guarantee that Bikebuster Online will always be free of errors and fully functional. Bikebuster Online cannot be held liable for results caused through using Bikebuster Online, including problems with Internet connection or links as well as through using outdated computers or programs. Bikebuster Online cannot be held liable for problems such as delays or viruses arising from the use of e-mails or downloads. Bikebuster Online makes reservations regarding errors, inaccuracies or non-validity which might arise in connection with updates and uploads at Bikebuster Online.

Bikebuster Online is subject at all times to the laws and rules currently in force concerning product liability in Denmark and the EU.

 

 

2.

Order confirmation and payment

 



As soon as we have received your order and payment, you will immediately receive an online message confirming your order number as well as the total order value. We recommend that you print and save this notification which is in effect your order confirmation. Payment can be made with Dankort, VISA, VISA/Electron, JCB, Eurocard and Mastercard. Your order will be added a fee equivalent of the fee that the bank will charge Bikebuster for processing the transaction.

 

 

3.

Delivery

 



The delivery time is normally one to five working days. You will receive an e-mail from Bikebuster Online once the item has been dispatched from our warehouse together with a link to a track-and-trace page enabling you to follow the package from our warehouse to delivery at your address.

Goods are dispatched by post. If there is no one to receive the package at the receiver's address, the postal service will take the package for collection at the local post office. Bikebuster Online accepts no liability for any inconvenience caused by the addressee having to collect the goods. The addressee is obliged to check that the packaging is intact and in the event that it is not, to inspect the delivered package together with the postman. In the event that items are missing, a complaint must be lodged with the postal service after which Bikebuster will replace any missing items as quickly as possible. Furthermore, the recipient is obliged to ensure that the delivery contains all the items which have been ordered and should this not be the case then to immediately - and within max. 8 days - to identify any errors/shortfalls in the order to Bikebuster by e-mail to info@bikebuster.dk. The recipient cannot claim compensation for an incorrectly supplied item if the item has already been used.

 

 

4.

Delivery charge

 



The delivery charge is only DKK 75 per order irrespective of the size of the package. However, for dispatches outside Denmark the charge is DKK 200 per order, with the exception for overseas deliveries which are DKK 725 (US, Canada, Australia, Japan).

 

 

5.

Invoices

 

The invoice is dispatched together with the goods.

 

 

6.

Returning goods/Right to cancel

 

We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases at Bikebuster.

However, if for some reason you are dissatisfied with an item you have purchased, you can send it back within 14 days of receipt and we will refund the purchase price in full. If you choose to return a product and the reason for returning it is not an error made by Bikebuster, then you will be liable to pay postage and packaging charges. If you return an item as a result of a defect or other complaint, you have to pay postal charges for sending the item to Bikebuster's return address while Bikebuster pays delivery charges for sending the rectified or new item back to you.

Used items must be clean when returned. Items that has not been cleaned will be rejected.

If you wish to return an item, simply return it to Bikebuster Online. All you need to do is enclose a copy of the original invoice so we can identify your order, and preferably you should also make a note of the original order number on the outside of the package. The faster we can identify your return package, the faster we can credit your account.

In addition, you must enclose bank account details (remember to include sort code) so we can refund payment.

 

 

7.

Conditions for returns

The product must be intact and unused and all original packaging must be enclosed. We will not make refunds for used or damaged goods.

 

 

8.

Deadline for returns

Normally max. 14 days after receipt. However, in the Christmas period we extend the deadline. All items purchased between 20 November and 31 December can be returned until 15 January of the following year.

10.

Postage and packaging charges when returning items

The costs incurred in returning goods are borne by the customer unless the return is due to an error made by Bikebuster.

 

 

11.

Refunds


Charge/credit card: The sum will be credited to the charge/credit card you used when making the purchase.

Bank: The sum will be credited to your bank account.

 

 

12.

Bikebuster errors

If you receive incorrect or damaged goods, Bikebuster Online will naturally refund all carriage charges, both for the original delivery and for returning the goods. This will happen according to Post Danmark's normal rates.Remember to enclose a note with package number and a brief description of the mistake and send an e-mail to customercare@bikebuster.com with your postal charges as well as a bank account number so we can refund your expenses. Bikebuster Online will not accept packages sent COD. Please send an e-mail to our customer service at customercare@bikebuster.com and arrange for the goods to be returned. Remember to keep your postal receipt or track-and-trace number as proof that you have returned the goods.

 

 

13.

Credit period, charge/credit card

As soon as Bikebuster has received your return goods, we will refund the amount to your bank or charge/credit card company which will then credit your account. It may take several weeks before the amount is again available in your account.

 

 

14.

Colours and sizes

Bikebuster Online accepts no liability for the fact that dimensions and weights do not match customers own dimensions. The weights and dimensions stated are those stated by the manufacturers. In so far as a product fails to meet expectations in this respect, the normal 14-day returns policy applies.

 

 

15.

Security when purchasing

Shopping at Bikebuster is fully secure.

Bikebuster's servers use an advanced encryption technology called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). It means that only Bikebuster Online?s computers can read the information on your debit/credit card. When our secure servers have received the information from your debit card, the information is sent directly to the bank in encrypted form and is never saved or stored by Bikebuster Online.

Debit card payments are effected according to the legislation and rules for online payments in Denmark.

When you have completed an online payment you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. We advise you to save this confirmation.

If a third person misuses your debit card, you will not be held liable for the misuse unless you have contravened the rules governing the use of debit cards.

 

 

16.

Bonus

As a member, a percentage of all your purchases with Bikebuster is credited to your bonus account ? as bonus points. Bonus points constitute 5% of the price of all goods in the online store. Bonus points are credited to your bonus account once you have made your purchase - either using Dankort or via a bank transfer and once the entire order has been dispatched.

Every time, for example, you make purchases for DKK 1,000 you will be awarded 50 bonus points. Every point corresponds to DKK 1. You can use this bonus either when making your next purchase or you can decide to save the points up for subsequent use. However, the bonus points must be used within max. 12 months of them having been awarded. If you do not use your bonus points, they will automatically be deleted. There is no obligation to purchase through being a member of the bonus club. You decide when and what you buy. When you place an additional order, you will not be able to use the bonus awarded on the main order as it is technically regarded as a single order. If you return an item and have the purchase sum refunded, the bonus points will be deducted from your bonus account. If you have already used them, they will be offset against what is owing to you. The points cannot be exchanged for cash or used elsewhere other than in the Bikebuster shop.

When paying by bank transfer, the bonus must not be deducted when effecting payment. The full gross amount of the order must be paid in. Bonus points will be credited to your account following your purchase as long as you were logged on with your membership number when placing the order.

 

 

17.

Goods specifications

We are not liable for minor differences in the colour or size of products sold via Bikebuster. This will not be considered as an error on the part of Bikebuster Online and will not result in costs being refunded, either in connection with the original dispatch or the return of the item.
